A Life Undone

Posted by Shekey in Audio, Lyrics

So this song is the just written closer of the album. It’ll go in last and be pretty epic, as opposed to this demo version of it. This was recorded with my acoustic straight into my computer’s mic. No sweetening!

You don’t know what it’s like
to be the one
You ask my day was
I say I didn’t have one
’cause I’m in love with a girl
Who doesn’t love me back
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before

Two hundred dollars got me my own four door
It ain’t pretty but at least I don’t walk no more
At least I’ve got a job,
but they don’t know or appreciate what I’ve done
I said stop me if you’ve already heard this one.

You don’t know what it’s like
to be the one
Where there once was mud
The earth is cracked and done
But I’ve got health,
Despite the aching in my heart
You don’t know what it is to live a life undone….
